After serving for 4.5 years in the Army, I fell into a depression I never knew existed. There was a moment in time where I wanted to end it all... Luckily, the last phone number I was calling picked up, my little brother. Shortly after, I realized the only thing that kept me alive was my support system, then I realized that many others in this world do not have a support system. No one they could call when times get tough, no one to be there for them when they don't know what to do, no one by their side through it all. I wanted to be that someone, and now I would like to do it on a mass scale.
