Jim lives in the Tampa Bay area and his one remaining parent lives in NYC. Jim has been the remote caregiver for his Mom who was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease roughly ten years ago. His caregiver role has really escalated since 2019. While he has no regrets in stepping in to help, it has come at a cost of time, relationships, money and personal stress. We are taking the next step later this summer when Jim is moving his Mom into a memory care community here in Florida. My big lesson: use your resources! Thank you.
